design is a puzzle that beckons to be solved...

Whether it was the art I made as a young child, or the dozens of intricately collaged and doodled-in sketchbooks of my adolescence, I have always had this innate need to make things in my life look and feel beautiful.

My career as a graphic designer and artist happened organically. It felt like one thing led to another and here I am, utterly obsessed and devoted to the craft. I began making posters, websites, album artwork and merchandise for my own music. I quickly gained clientele through mutual friends and musicians in need of art & design work. Organic is a term I resonate with in my art. Natural flowing lines, palettes that just feel right, work that has a human touch to it, far from over-designed. I am ever-inspired by my own nostalgia and I feel this bleeds its way into the essence of my work.

I have now been working as a freelance designer and artist for around eight years specializing in album artwork, show posters, and publication designs. I am currently completing a graphic design certificate at Santa Barbara City College and am interning as a Junior Designer for Wonder + Wit, a Santa Barbara-based design house.
